The Rinnai Continuous Flow Gas Hot Water System
How to specify the best system?
There are four important considerations to ensure that you have the correct Rinnai Hot Water continuous flow model to best suit your needs:
- Step 1- How many bathrooms?
Rinnai Hot Water continuous flow systems will never run out of hot water, but the total number of showers potentially operating at the same time is extremely important. A single bathroom home with only one shower will comfortably operating using the smaller V1200, whereas a two or three bathroom home will require the larger V1500 or the Infinity 26.
- Step 2 – What type of shower rose is installed?
The type of shower rose installed in your home is also important. All new shower rose’s have a minimum 3 star 9 litre/minute delivery rate.
A single 9 litre/minute shower rose will comfortably operate using the V1200 in conjunction with a tap being used at the same time. Larger homes with two to three bathrooms will require the larger V1500 or infinity 26 or even the 32 litre which will fill quickly.
- Step 3 – Does the home have a large bath or spa?
If there is a large spa or bath, then regardless of the number of bathrooms or showers, we would recommend the larger V1500, infinity 26 or 32 litre which will fill quickly.
- Step 4 – The distance to bathrooms and other wet areas.
The further away the shower the longer it takes to get the hot water and the more potential for water to be wasted down the drain. Where feasible, always have the hot water system installed as close as possible to the outlets that are mainly used. (i.e. shower or kitchen sink).
The Rinnai Hot Water continuous flow models are a compact unit enabling them to be installed virtually on any outside wall.
